Vulnerability – a 21st skill for leaders of today! Would you agree?
Vulnerability is the ability to share corporate imperfections, the desire to show that you are only human and the willingness to ask for help! True vulnerability can be heard in these words:
- I’ve not done that before…
- I don’t know how….
- I do not understand what they mean….
…and did I forget to add ‘oh, neither do I’ – How wonderful if the collaborative spirit shone through, bringing co-vulnerability to the surface, resulting in an organisation being fully transparent on all levels! Are you entitled to your label of leader or do you earn it by exposing the reality of your human side, whilst earning more followers?
